Roush Stage 3

Anybody know how many 2006 Stage 3's will be produced. I heard roughly 500. Is that in the ballpark?? Thanks
Also, anybody know what the performance #'s for the Stage 3 are? (0-60 time and 1/4 mile)?? Thanks.

Initial production plans called for a target of 300 2006 Stg 3s. Actual production is estimated at aproximately 240.

Especially when you can get the same power (415HP) for ~$20K less. (~$26K X-plan GT +$500 cash back and Roush supercharger installed for less than $6K).

That's less than the cost of a Shelby GT (~$35K with 325HP) and the Roushcharger has 3 year warranty.

Not that I've been thinking about this for any particular reason

I was going to do that this week but could not find any '06 color combos that I wanted.

BTW, both Ford-Roush dealerships wanted around $6k just for the charger, $1400 installed. They agreed to let me install it but warned me it would void the Mustang's warranty unless they installed it. I was actually going to sell it for a KB 2.6.

i've seen them as low as 5400.00 and then add the install cost. Unfortunately, the Dealer needs to perform the install to set up the Warrenty.

Check out JBCMOTORSPORTS.net ( it needs to be all caps) and look for Brad in the contacts section --- he is an authorized Roush Dealer and has competitive internet pricing - i have purchased from him in the past.

According to this guy (who apparently asked Roush), it does not need to be dealer installed to preserve the warranty. As long as it had the PCM and WARRANTY CARD and was done by a certified mechanic.

And here's one for $5399 + $90 shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...OBOX%3ANEWLIST

So it's possible these days to get a brand new mustang GT for $21,927 http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...rd+san+antonio

Buy and install a new roush supercharger for ~$5900,

And have a 415hp mustang under warranty for a grand total of $27,827!

True. The Mechanic needs to prove certification and do the ECM thing ---- Roush will approve on an individual basis. Ford actually picks up the Warrenty and gets reimbursed by Roush.

5400.00 - they been selling them on E-Bay for almost a year at that price ---- JBC Motorsports, i do believe.
