Ok just interested to see what people are planning to do to your roushes. I can't decide if i want to go with all roush parts or go cheaper with others.

Blow by racing is working on the heads P&P so once I can see what there results are that will be a must. I am changing the hood not sure which one yet. Once I get all of the simple stuff I might go with the Saleen SC or KB SC. I think Saleen is 2.3 and KB is 2.4 but we shall see. I would like to get the yello and black roush seats put in though and that will probably only be what I buy from roush. If you don't already know they are a little pricey

Yeah i know they are pricey I just thought about going with the all roush thing... but have decided to go the other way. Getting custom rims from BBR and can't decide on what stripes I want (painted).

I actually have the seats in my roush sport model and I wasn't a big fan of the tire/rim package... that's why no stage one. Just my $.02.

Now for me that is one of the biggest compliments around here are the wheels. One less thing I had to do with car so Im happy. I am also looking at getting the stripes painted, but a little wider than the stuck on ones. They already have some corner edges missing, not big, but I notice. I also saw the side exhaust on different aftermarket cars and that might be another possibility since Roush wont be doing this for the stage 3.

you're going to change the exhaust? I love the exhaust! I think that is one of the best things about the car. But from one roush to the other can you change the x pipe, or will that delete the mufflers? This is my first mustang so I'm still learning.

I've looked at the Roush web site and the Stage 1 package.

What kind of horsepower boost do you get with the Roush Stage 1 package? Saleen advertises 325hp on their base coupe, which is 25 over stock.

Anyone know what increase you get with the Roush package? Do they do a special tune, air intake, etc.?

I will be adding headers and x pipe. this should bring the sound out more. I will probably stick with the mufflers still, unless I go with the side exhaust like on the Eleanor. Still up in the air on that one.

I don't think they have an increase of hp. they have a performance exhaust, but that shouldn't change the numbers by much if at all. Saleen if I remember correctly has CAI and flash. Might just be the flash.

they also have saleen pullies on them. By the way got smoked yesterday by a '05 supercharged saleen. It was fun... but still I'd smoke people too if i paid that much for the car.

that's what I was thinking as well. Little more to pull out the existing exhaust. Tell me how that goes. I will be doing the same.

Check out Mustangs & Fast Fords (Sept. issue). They have several articles in there pertaining to the 05'. Whats funny is they have a write up about the blown Saleen.A little more upgrades before I could touch them. They also have an article about JDM Engineering/Kooks headers and x-pipe being installed on a Stage 1 screamin yellow Roush. They dynoed with cats and without. Nice numbers that they got from them first pull with cats showed 15.63 rwhp @ 5200 rpms and at 5500 rpms they were at 17.27 rwhp. Without the cats the car gained another 6 rwhp total went up to 294.26 rwhp. With the addition of pullies, CAI and tune the car was at 317.51 rwhp and 334.39 ft. lb. of torque. With the addition of P&P heads and new cam and springs we will see numbers over 400 rwhp in no time, remaining N/A.

Roush Stage 1 adds only the exhaust - no CAI or tune/flash. It is good for 3-5 hp per Roush email response.

I have not heard of anything from Roush besides Stage 3 with S/C that will increase power.

I also agree that the look of the exhaust is great...really one of a kind.
