93 octane @ $2.49 per gallon.
93 octane @ $2.49 per gallon.
Now, add to that expected gas price hikes before the car actually gets here and this is undoubtedly an expensive car to own and opperate.

Hi-Test all the way... hopefully I'll be able to tune mine for 104. There are a bunch of gas stations around my area that sell 104.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was reading somewhere that cars designed for higer octanes, actually benfitted better gas mileages than cars designed to run off regular.

(shrugs) No idea, but I see guys pumping off the 104 (sometimes it's 108, usually in the summer) pump all the time. Usually it's these idiots in Civics with fart cans throwing their money away, but sometimes I see an older muscle car that may actually benefit from the octane boost.
My Shelby uses 104. Needs to with its 13:1 compression ratio. It's about $5.75 to $6.00 a gallon. Oh well... its a good way to keep its mileage down.
