What color red is the 07 Shelby shown at the New York show. Is it torch red or the new red that may be on the 06 mustang. I have heard it may be called Colorado Red. Anyone know for sure about new colors?

 

Don't know for sure but it looks just like Torch Red.

 

It's SVT Red. It's a little more orange than Torch is.

 

Really, so there is really a color called SVT RED ? Where did you see that? I am getting ready to paint a 1970 Mach 1 and want the latest updated Mustang Red.

 

I think it was in the press release. I don't think it is the red that is replacing Torch next year. I think it will probably be a Cobra only color.

Looked very similar to the Rosso Corsa the Ferrari F1 team uses. Very bright with some hint of bright pink/orange.

Depends on the light surce. In person, the orange is very noticeable.

 

yea, light seems to have a pretty cool effect on it. it goes from kick **** red like the one George posted, to a red with orangy tinge, and then to a red pale color!

 

The more I see that car the more I agree the mirrors should be painted. It would look great.

The colors have been released for '06. Both reds stay the same. New colors are listed in the timeline.

 

True but the Shelby is a 2007 and that red may be offered on the other cars, I hope it stays SVT exclusive at least for a couple years.

 

I recently had a part of my bumper painted. The paint code on my Torch Red car came up Colorado Red in the bodyshop's computer. According to the painter, they're identical, and on my car they appear identical too.

The car is Torch Red, and the grill in the lower bumper is painted Colorado Red.

That is the first I have heard that a paint shop would read the data plate of a 05' and come up with Colorado red. So much for waiting for a new red. Now I am hearing that the '06 colors are the the same as '05. I am starting to not believe anything Ford releases. Hard to trust anything they say after all the PonyDrive lies. Thanks all for the info. Hope to still here more about the 07' Shelby colors.
