Just sat down with sales manager ( who is a good friend) for large ford dealership today and he said he will get back to me tom. cause the owner is undecided with if he wants to wait till he gets the Gt500 's ( convertible) in to price or wants me to be #1 on the list and settle on a price now. I also got a call from salesman today about the roush's he said I could have the stage 2 convertible with a vortech supercharger (500hp) for under 50k or the stage 3 convertible for 53k. This same salesman told me he turned down 2 offers for 65k for the gt500coupe
A Different dealership that is getting in 2 gt500 convertible's said he has one sold for 60k and would sell me the other if the owner doesn't want it . But said it wouldell for 60-65k.

$50K for a blown S2 (or "under" = $49,500 most likely)? What a cad that gentleman is! S3 for $53K?!? GT500 for >$65K?!?!? :nono:

$53 is prob right in line with the price of a S3 vert. I'd avoid the vortech charged one. Your warranty will likely be void. I'd avoid the $25k markup on the GT500. That ain't happening. Check back to see what it really sells for.
Roush Stage 3, btw, is a fine car. You might be surprised how it performs. I've driven a 2002 stage 3. It was IMPRESSIVE.

I heard that the Roush suspension was kick A, but you paid iro $40K for your S2??? DA-YUM!
$46K for the S3 is WAY high.
I wonder what costs are involved in Roush/Saleen producing their cars...

I paid dealer cost for the roush-was supposed to be a driver till my shelby comes in.He agreed to buy it back for what I paid when the shelby comes in this summer.(pays to have friends).I think the roush is priced high, but the car is a very fine auto.Stage 2 handling is awsome and way beyond what I can give it on the street. The fit and finish is top notch on roush upgrade parts.Gotta see those seats.Stage 3 is obtained by buying a stage 2 and having the dealer do the supercharger upgrade kit.You then get certified to stg3 status officially.I would definetly do this if I was keeping the car.It has to have more go with this much show-LOL

I agree with the looks needing a little extra power The look is VERY aggressive.
As far as S3 = S2 + dealer installed Roushcharger, I didn't think that that was the case

Just got a call from my peeps who is the sales manager and he said the owner doesn't want to commit to a list or one set price. But he did say that he spoke to ford and that he needs to put the order in for colors and options late april or begining of May and that he will call me in to order the color and options at that point. Because at that point he is sure the owner will commit to a price. Also told me he is starting his own list with my name and number first.
