Hey everyone, I think I want to have side window louvers and possibly a back window louver on my stang like I had on my 1998 and was wondering if anyone knew where to get them or if anyone thought there would be any soon? Thanks!!

Several companies are developing louvers. Stay tuned the first week of November.

CDC should be coming out with louvers soon, and I know Visus is working on them as we speak.

Count me in on them. Side lovers - should they be body color or black? I hope the ones for the back are good quality. I bought some aftermarket ones for my 73 Mach 1 and took them off they were so flimsy. I'd pay $100 more to get solid ones, maybe out of metal or aluminum. Held on good so I don't have to worry of them flying off.

You'd have to get body-colored ones. I know MRT's will resemble the 1965-1966 fastback. Westrenz is developing Shelby-style quarter-window scoops, but you'd have a heck of a time changing lanes.

After seeing all these awful body kits 'in the works' I think louvers and stripes are all this car really needs.

I agree with you totally Kevin. Personally I am not going to get the stripes, little too racy for my taste. But I am going to get the side window louvers for sure.

How do the louvers stay on? What fastens them to the car?

Some of the stuff that Westrends is coming out with seems pretty cool, I like the ducktail rear spoiler, and their ground effects seem the least gaudy I've seen in awhile. That's just judging by their own photochops though, it'll be interesting to see real pics of this stuff.

Edit: did a little search

this is what Visus says about their function:
Hinges on the top for easy cleaning, with molded latches on the bottom.Molded rubber feet to rest squarely on the glass
