''There's a little Ford GT in every SVT, with technology, engineering skills and hardware applied to future SVT products.''

Easier said than done ..... And by the way you can wave your magic wand and turn that 4.6 into a 5.4 .... while you at it, why don't you throw a factory warranty in on top of it .....

Will a 5.4 bolt to trans, use existing harness, mounts? I use to run 10.80s with a 3.8 in my 87 Buick Grand National.Stock long block. So I realy dont see it going to be to dificult to get 500 out of my 4.6 buy the end of summer.Ordering whipple kit ,but upgrading boost and fuel system a little more than what the kit comes with. Also exhaust and tune with the right suspension mods.I have to spank my buddies C6.He is allready run mid 12.s.

For a few months . Then you rebuild the engine, and -then- you're a contender.

it would be nice to have an aluminum block 5.4 in the Shelby Cobra GT500, but it wont be the exact same block as the Ford GT, as the Ford GT block has no provision for motord mounts, the Shelby Cobra GT500 would require this provision

her is to hoping we get and aluminum block in the Shelby Cobra GT500

Exactly .... ANY engine can be made fast ..... It just depends on how many runs or laps you want to take ....
