The whole 20" rim perversion is really getting anoying. Somebody should make them old school 16" rims onto bigger bfg tires.
The rear spoilers are way overdone and look overall stupid, with a big exception for the ducktails, these kick a**!
That shaker hoodscoop with the old Mach1/Boss bulge was the best one so far.
Really the retrothing should be played out some more. Oh, i loved the one with all the extra meters and dials on the dash.
The louvers didn't look bad on that electric whateverthing, but the overal feel of that look was a kind of Knight Rider thing... Looked cool like David Hasselhof looks cool...

some good, others not so much (in the words of my Latin teacher talking about our test scores)
i feel this whole show is just a lil mix n match thing (not sure how to describe what i mean) just take what u want, leave what you don't. theres only i car i like 100% n thats MRT

It could be an age factor (I'm 40), but it seems the show was light on performance mods, and way too heavy on "Pimp My Ride" paste-ons.
Now that Ford has done the Mustang right in design and appearance, the aftermarket attempts to improve the looks all fall flat. Sort of like painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa.
As for me, a tasteful paint accent design (stripes or such) and some true bolt-on performance pieces is all this new Mustang needs. Anything else is overkill and counter productive.
My 2 cents for what its worth...

As with just about any show there were plenty of good things and plenty of bad things. I would say it was good overall but too many were way overdone. I just don't get the supersize wheels.
As I've stated before, the nicest cars at the show, IMO, were built by Ford, and not these aftermarket tuner companies. I did, however, think that the bonspeed "Black Rose" was a pretty sharp car.
I agree with the general census in the forums: Ford hit a homerun with the design of the new 'Stang, and it's going to be very very hard for these companies to improve on it.

Hmmm, I don't know. From the pictures, yeah, I liked the concept 'Stang's front-end better; after seeing the production car last year in Chicago, though, I'm pretty glad that Ford altered the GT's front-end. Plus, who knows, I'm willing to bet that the new Cobra has the concept/GTR look to it...
