Red seems a little loud for me. Silver or a gray inserts would add a touch of class to the dark charcoal interior and match the polished aluminum around the interior, I think.

 

I have seen pre-production interior with blue seats and blue door panels just like the red accent option but I can't seem to find it. Sonic blue Gt-500 with white stripes and blue inserts on the interior. :headbang: :worship:

 

If you look at the background of the MT pics, there are some interior shots. They are very hard to make out. but, it looks like plain gray and tan to me.

 

I remember a photchop someone did a while back that looked an awful lot like GT500's interior. They also did varients on it where where they replaced the red with blue and gray. They looked really great but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone have an idea where they are?

 

Glad I seen the red int. in person. [GTvert]. Have to agree with 1 Bullitt; I think black with silver inserts, maybe some silver stitching, and a nice Cobra emblem on the insert, would look killer nice!

 

Saw that too. Looks great, IMO. I would love to see Ford incorporate this w/ all corresponding colors. Super Sonic, is that what you were referring to as well or have you seen something else?

 

The seats that I have been most impressed with are the 2 tone seats in the '02 Cobras..... the graphite colored suede insets and the dark charcol leather ..... those were nice.... now if they could do that, but bolster the heck out of them. I was at the auto show in Denver yesterday, and I gotta say, after sitting in a bunch of performance cars, if there's one thing I could change about the Mustang, it would be the seats.... bolster the crap out of them.

 

Speaking of seats, are these really the seats you get for 40k? They are just re-treads of the standard GT seats (which are no prizes). This doesn't bother anyone?

 

I know they look a lot alike, but are they the same w/o any support up-grades or anything?

 

I agree, SVTJayC, The seats are a weak point. They were in the Terminator Cobras, too. Hopefully that will be part of the 5% that changes.

I agree that the seats are weak.

for a car with an alleged 500 hp, they need some seriously bolstered seats, like the Viper seats.

 

Just wondering :scratch: I think they will offer white with sonic blue stripes SO---what would the inserts be white or blue. I would say white since the RED GT500 has white stripes and RED inserts the white GT500 with blue stripes would logically follow to have WHITE inserts but they would show dirt fast etc. BLUE inserts would not follow the plan but who knows What do you think???

 

That's a good point. I don't think white inserts would look bad at all. However, I think that this really depends on how many exterior colors they are planning to have available. For instance, if they only offer like 3 exterior colors (lets say red, blue and white) I think that there would be a good chance of them color coordinating the exterior with the interior. However, if they offer 5 or more colors I don't think that they'll do it because it may raise production costs.
