I went and saw the Dale Jarrett mustang a couple of weeks ago and it looked pretty good. The rims look good and so does the body kit but I didn't like all the Dale Jarrett emblems they put everywhere. The louvers looked pretty good and I asked Curt if they had any scoops but he said they did not have any at that time. He said the louvers took a long time to attach. He cranked up the car so I could hear the exhaust and man it sounded really good. I have a 05 GT and it made mine sound wimpy. Same sound but alot deeper. I wanted to get the exhaust right there but I couldn't fork out the money to do so.

yeah, thanks. I would like it a lot better if DJ's signature wasn't in everyplace you looked.
I agree, so much for being subtle. You could always debadge some of them though.

If anyone cares I will post what comes on the Dale Jarrett SE:

Street Scenes body kit
Street Scenes louvers
18" chrome wheels (there are 3 to choose from)
Eibach pro kit
Custom made magnaflow offroad series 3 (bullitt type) exhaust
DJ appearance package (lots of signatures)

They also have an additional kit they will put on the car as well:
Cold air intake and chip tune

With all of the above they say it has 50-60hp more than the regular GT and keeps the Ford warranty as well.

I have them sending me pictures of what the different wheels look like and will post them as soon as I get them.

50-60 hp with a tune, CAI, and exhaust? I kinda doubt that. Oh wait, I forgot, each signature must be worth 5hp, right?

Ha! Probably...not. No idea.. I am just the messenger. They have their own dyno that they test the cars on and that is where they came up with the numbers. I have heard that the exhaust is just barely legal due to the db level. Maybe it has a more free flow that allows a little more hp?

I will test it out myself once I get the car. Will go to B'ham and visit Scothew and find a dyno down there as well to run on for comparison.

I am sorry for my ignorance, but am I missing something? Is there anything unique to the Dale Jarret cars besides the logos? Are they just using off-the-shelf aftermarket stuff, or am I missing something?

They say that Magnaflow made a custom exhaust for the cars and the cold air intake and chip are their own as well. They do use Eibach springs and Street Scenes body kit which are regular aftermarket items.

I listed above what is on the car. Will keep checking for more pictures and will continue checking for more info.

Pretty much, other than you get a warranty with the mods whereas you wouldn't with Ford...

And that it is a limited edition car, but other than that...

That is about it.
