Another P-51...

Ok, I'll admit, I didn't realize this one came before the Roush, and for that I apologize. But I still have to stick to the fact that I'm not really feeling anything in the way of warbird nostalgia out of it. And like you said, to each their own, not everything is going to be to everyone's taste. I think it would have looked better if the body parts weren't just colored according to the cut lines. However, I still love the pinup girl idea.

You nailed it Chuck. That is exactly what that car needed I prefer the first one, the split kinda bothers me. Maybe if the split was farther down and the GO was extended some..

hehe, nice. What about some numbers or squadron markings on the bumper or somewhere near the tail? I like the direction you're going there. I think if it doesn't reflect honest warbird heritage, it doesn't carry the theme effectively. However I will give it credit for already looking way more airplane inspired in that form than the Roush.

What looks good on a plane doesn't necessarily look good on a car.

Mirrors should match the hood.
Rocker panels Black to match front splitter.
The added Yellow Stripe to make sure the front end doesn't look repaired from an accident is a definite.
Outside of that, I like the concept. Just not that much of an aviation freak to drive it around.
