I still think kill stickers would be hilarious on a mustang...little meatballs, and various emblems of cars you have killed...lol.

man that color scheme is horrible. plan B on the clors guys, please go to plan B

Some details like the girl on the fender are interesting, but honestly, I really didn't like the Roush one either, so the poser tuner version really doesn't do anything for me.

I really dont get the whole try to make the stang look like an airplane... This whole "special edition" crap needs to stop because it seems like Saleen is just popping out the same cars but with a little twist and racking up special editions just to over charge for a mustang. It's not just Saleen either.. Ford has what...the V6, GT, GT/CS, Warrior in Pink V6, GT500, GT500KR, GT500 SuperSnake. Honestly by the time this model of stang is through there will probably be 50 different "special editions" made from aftermarket companies and ford, just so they can rack up more money from a Mustang

I like the Roush version, very much so actually, but this looks like junk!

I like that but they need to make the yellow not follow the cut lines it looks like it got hit and somone replaced the nose.
I totally dig the rrest though especially the Pinup!

I think this makes the roush one look like crap

Although mine is cooler than this

The idea of Special Edition cars should never stop but they should try to improve over time. Seems like they just do 3rd party kits and slap some name on and some sucker will buy it. The Roush version of this thing is better from a power plant point of view. I'm not a fan of the green funky badging. I think the PJ is one of the best developments out there it's just missing a S/C with that that car would be a monster.

+1

I think with all SE's there should be some kind of development that's deeper than the surface. I don't like many of the cars that claim to be SE's that are just bolt-on aftermarkets with some body accessories. The things that make the Bullitt and the PJ special are the fact that they have things you can't find on other cars (swirly dash, grill, shifter, PJ's engine treatment and grill and lots of others). IMHO if you aren't going to go to the trouble to make a special car, don't call it special. Make it a tuner package and move on.

This is really no different than the '60s. Multiple Shelbys, Mach, Boss, Cal Special, Grande (my grandmother had one of those with a vinyl top), with a ton of engine options from inline 6 to big block.

The Roush one is better. This one looks like somebody crashed it and they replaced the broken parts with ones off a tan Mustang from the junkyard.

Wow way to rip off an idea that Roush already put on the market.

Since you mention Roush, just for the record, North American Tuning had applied for the P-51 trademark and put the Mustang P-51 on the market well before anyone else. I know it's a lot "easier" to believe the big corporations because of the huge marketing budget and machine they have at their disposal... but last time I checked, this is still a free country where free entreprise and entrepreneurs can come up with great ideas and products before the "big boys".
Don't believe everything you hear or read, especially from a company that recently got fined in Nascar for cheating...
This car is a tribute to the P-51 with it's color scheme, nose art and pinup girl. It's not for everyone and that's OK. That's why there are Saleen, Roush, Shelby and other great Mustang tuners. Something for everyone.

Saw one at a show this past weekend. I thought the car wasn't finished at first. Didn't like it at ALL.

Definitely a slick idea, not sure if I like the execution entirely.

I think with some refining this could have been really cool

Interesting concept, but agree with some that think the front end panit scheme looks a bit unfinished,
at least to my eyes.

Here's a quick lil' change or two that works for me...
