Anyone else notice that the tachometer has a 6k rpm redline? What gives? It doesn't say anything on Ford's Media Site about different cams geared for lower rpm's like the Mach 1's versus the '01 Cobras. It says it uses stock GT heads. Unless this is part of the way that they are getting the underrating, by stating what it makes at 6000 rpm's instead of at it's true redline, 6500 like the GT. What do you guys/gals think? In this sea of appearance threads maybe it's time to discuss engine specifics, like for instance did anyone else notice how small the blower pulley is? It's tiny!!! Also this engine is not as flashy and dressed up as the one in the 2005 Mustang Concept. It actually looks production ready with all the vacuum hoses and wiring harnesses exposed. Any thoughts on these items?

The 03-04 Cobras had a 6500rpm redline...

EDIT: The blower doesn't look small to me, notice how short the nose cover is. If it was longer than the blower would actually be smaller displacement wise. Compare the 2.2L Kenne Bell to the 2.4L and you'll see what I mean.

I meant to say that the blower pulley is small not the blower itself, I fixed my post.
