this was the first time i saw one of the new mustangs, so i was in awe when i drove by. the 3-d carbon looks amazing in person. w/out that wing it is beautiful. the hood is amazing. the picture of the hood shows the great shape of it. the rims are perfect with the car. people were stopping in the middle of the street to look at it. a couple of people stopped and took pictures with their cellphone. There were also a couple of people walking around it.
The westrenz car wasnt too good. the scoops had plastic inserts which just killed it for me. those scoops would look nice without the inserts. the rims were o.k.
hope you guys like the pics i took, after seeing other pics of it already ^_^

Your pics were refreshing (in natural light). I think it did more for them than the studio shots.... (more real life)... Thanks....

agreed. looking at them in natural light, and in person made them look even better. there is so much stuff going on with the Carbon that you dont even notice the butt-ugly wing. that hood is amazing! it became my favorite SEMA hood after yesterday.

Thanks for the pics...
i agree, a combo of both bodykits would make the ideal set up.
although...sometimes, i feel the stock body with a set of REALLY nice 19 or 20" wheels, lowered would still look really good. It would retain more of the classic muscle car feel. the bodykits makes the car very updated current sports cars.

Thanks for your e-mail.
Sorry to say that the Boy Racer hood is not currently available. Because of
projected costs, we have decided to wait and do the hood at a later time.
There is no ETA yet.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hopefully, enough positive response like this thread will convince them to do it. I know I'd be the first one to buy it.

anyone know anything about the availability of the rear spoiler on the Yellow Westrenz car, I emailed them and have gotten no response. In my opinion that is the best looking one.

Drove up to see the Boy Racer and it was gone!
Spoke to an ingratiating salesman who confirmed that the car WAS there, but that someone bought it for $250K. My wife (knows about as much about cars as did Noah) looked at him and went "Naw!". He went, "Yes". I said "Er, no.". He said "Yes yes, come and see - you mean this car..." pointing to a poster of the Ford GT.
Actually, I think it was an accent thing - I'm Scottish and he was Mexican. He was actually a pleasant guy, so can't knock him for not understanding my quasi-English!
Strange, but that wasn't the first time I had this kind of problem - when I was shopping for new rims, a guy at Big O in Huntington Beach simply WOULD NOT accept that my stock wheels were 17". He argued with me for about 5 mins and after about the 20th time of him saying "Yep, here it is - Ford GT....blah...blah..." and jabbing his meaty finger at his guidebook, it dawned on me. I asked for a look at his booklet and sure enough, he's looking at the Ford GT.
My car was parked right outside the door and when I pulled up both he and another kid who worked there came out to see it. It was pretty soon thereafter that I muttered something about "low-calorie chocolate" and "mud-butt" and beat a hasty retreat, fearing for my poor pony's wellbeing!
Anyone know if the Boy-Racer is still in the area (my wife LOVES me dragging her around to exotic dealerships and interacting with their delightful staff)?

Both cars look awesome except that someone forgot to put tires on those rims. There's too much open space in the wheel wells.
I stand corrected, the 3D Carbon needs tires, the space in the wheel wells is fine. I think I was underwhelmed by the 3D carbons wheel/tire combo that I grouped both together. Sorry.
