hey guys has anybody seen what the 2007 corba will look like i know it will have the same body style just wanting to know and hopely it will have 425 or 450 hp cant wait maybe svt wont screw us like they have the lighting guys and bring it out when ther time line says thanks 72 mustang

Seriously, we have absolutely no solid information on the next cobra, even the year it will come out is not absolute.

 

there haven't been any official pictures or sketches of what the cobra will look like or any concrete info about the engine although most rumours point towards the 5.4 litre v8 from the ford GT either NA or supercharged but detuned so as not to outshine the GT and we're even starting to hear that the cobra won't even have IRS cause it won't be able to handle the power i think a good guess for the power is somewhere between 4 and 5 hundred hp but really i think it'll be less than 475 but thats okay cause that'll still be crazy and i'm not even getting one anyways okay thanks bye Jeff

if you search "cobra" in this forum, you'll probably find everything anybody outside of Ford knows about the cobra. And watch for AmyV6's posts, she's caught glimpse of a mule running around with a huge hood scoop and 18 inch wheels, could have something to do with the cobra, and we're just waiting for her to get some clear pics of it.

 

The silver GT with the 18" rims ARE different than the silver one I saw with the HUGE hood scoop with blacked out rims. Just wanted to clear it up. Slightly different.

Also seen a redfire V6 that they've been testing... and another white with camo cover GT.

So... they are working on something.. what it is.. I'm not sure of yet.

But.. we have been told at the pre-Launch party dinner.. that the Cobra is currently being road tested around here

 

If they're already into road tests for the Cobra, I can't imagine they'll need another two years to bring it to market. Sounds to me more like it'll be a 2006 model available late next year.

"He" didn't tell us if it was a full version Cobra they are testing on the road right now... Mules are a hodge podge of different stuff. Not every mule is built to test the samething.
