If it is real they need to test in a lot cooler climate. Cause the front end is melting.

has anyone found a shot of the Produciton 05 that is from the same/similar angle?

I still smell fish when i see it, Assurances from AW or no. If they want to convince me, they can put up this and the other 8 pics on their main site, blurry or no, like they did with the white mule photos. I seem to recal an early camo shot of the vert looking like a blurry Road Warrior Station wagon on their site awhile back, so why would a blurry passing shot of this car be any worse?

First post here so I guess I had better step on some toes.

I find it hilarious, that the guys who charged so stongly that the picture was a chop haven't said much if at all. I guess they just realized they made a mistake and called something a chop before knowing all the fact. Still what I find so funny is that people still don't want to believe that it is real. I guess you just can't convince everyone. I just wanted to say in the kid that took the pics defense, that he really should be commended. He did a great job of getting these pics, and only to show them to a bunch of people who bashed him for it. That was more an issue over at SVTP than here. Anyway, at my discression I told him to take them down in an attempt for him to gain a little noteritety for his hard works, and at the same time get him the kind of respec that he deserved from everyone in the online Mustang community who called him nothing but a chop, and a fraud. This is a 16 kid so excited about what he found that all he could do was share it with others that he thought would appreciate it just as much. Oh well, I guess knowing who is being truthful these days is almost as hard as know who is gay or straight in Atlanta.

By the way I am over at Bamamafia every once in a while and noticed that there are a few of you guys over here as well.

I have been quiet because there is not much else to say about it. Either it is fake or not. The pic has some flaws in it. Maybe they were put there, maybe they are due to his cameras limits, I don't know. Being put in AW doesn't prove its authenticity. If they are real, the kid deserves commendation. If they aren't he should be biyatch-slapped.

Nothing against the kid, but, a large percentage of what we see is fake. I leaked the B&W dealer photo back in October. Several people called it fake. We see now that it wasn't. If it is real, time will prove him right and he will be justified.

Either way, that is not the next Cobra. It might be the next cobra's drivetrain, but, that isn't its body.

Thanks for joining the board to try to blow your horn and to try to bash us, though. Stick around, it is a great mustang board.

I am in no way trying to bash you, and I have no idea how you could get that from my above post. I was mearly sticking up for him, and pointing out that he caught alot of grief over nothing. But I will say this posts like yours are great...until the end where you try to belittle someone. I don't appreciate that at all. And as for decipher I will take his comment with a grain of salt. I try to bring good quality information anywhere I go. The only thing that limits me is what I know for sure, so that at some times will lower my post ammount. I have been around alot of these boards for several years without saying anything, but felt that this would be a good time to introduce myself. Quite a few of the people over here are from boards that I talk on regularly so I had a preminition that the quality of people would carry over. So far I have seen in alot more of ya'lls other posts that this isn't true, but I don't think it fair to judge the nature of a board until you know the contents of its' body. I am not trying to start a flame war, but little nit picky comments, and stupid hiney & ine remarks like what decieper only make people think this is nothing more than a bunch of teenage kids behind computer, and I know that isn't true. Come on show alittle respect before you slap the belittling remarks, and understand someones post before you pick at them.

I'm with crazyhorse on this. The reason that those of us who feel it was a chop aren't speaking up is b/c this has already been discussed at length. We've said why the think its photoshopped, and presonally I don't feel like rewriting the same posts again in a different topic. If it does turn out to be real, then thats really cool that someone actually got it on film. and it going on Autoweek doesnt prove anything for me. Ok, enough of my rambling. Hopefully this topic will be proved one way or another, and soon.

Whitten,

nothing personal. I am really a neutral, non-flaming (more ways than one) person. But, when I read your post I took it as someone coming over to the board to say "told you so. It was in AW, that makes it real. All you naysayers were wrong" It may be real and I am glad to know they are working on my next car. I am simply defending my early suspicion of the authenticity and trying to discourage a flamer from hanging around the board. We had a poster a few months ago that caused trouble with each post (AD, for those who remember him). We like to keep it civil.

If I misread you, I apologize. Maybe your first post should be more of a "hey, how you all doing?"

Quite frankly I couldn't care less about this pic we know nothing about it.. It IS NOT a cobra. We already know the cobra will have a different bodywork to differenciate it. It is either real or a fake of a mustang with crap rims and an ugly hood. That is ALL we know for sure.
So quite frankly who cares. Until i see a clear pic of this thing sitting in a studio with the hood open I could give a rats rear.

There in no new info here. It's just a mustang with a cowl hood. Nuff said!

As for Whitten I'm glad you got that out of your system now. I think we judged this photo fairly. WE the photoshop people are very well aware of how easy it is to make something look like it's not. This photo is SO bad that a rank first year amature could have hacked it together in photoshop. Tell the 16 yo to take a clearer photo next time. This might as well have been a UFO sighting. So going on the fact that we know NOTHING of the person who took it and has Zero credibility because of that and we have seen Excellent Photoshops of cars that DON'T exist we judge it and errored to the side of it being fake.

As for knowing the facts..were you there when it was taken? NO you weren't so as for Facts you know as much as we do.

As for me the jury is still out...and i care so freaking little about this car that it will more than likly stay out until harder evidence is brought forth.

In the end if it is real...who care its just a stang with a cowl hood but you can sit there and be safe in the knowledge that you told us all so. Lets see what the drivetrain is..then I'll get excited.

Whitten, take my comment how you will, but it was not meant with hostility towards you. I was just sick and tired of arguing that it's a fake over and over again to different people who weren't around for the first time. I have nothing against you, I just don't feel like getting into this argument again.

It's all good. Stick around and post with us for a while.

I hope your buddy really did see the car in the picture. Tell him to keep up the good work and send more pictures (to us, not AW).

Not Going to FFW. I had planned to go to Nashville, but, plans fell through.

Well said BM, and, though it may be a restatement i ask you this

sure, th epic has a HUGE hood, but, why would ford keep it basically like a twin of the GT? Cobras have bodywork, ducktails or large wings, and other assorted stuff and besides, ford wouldtn have a cobra done this fast

Not done, but I'd suspect they are well into testing.

The F150 Lightning concept is been in the mags already so I say the cobra is probably a finished product somewhere just not been seen yet.

Probably... so the only way this car would excite me is if someone stole it and posted pics on the net.

Otherwise it could be Cervini testing a cowl hood.
