Does anyone have any idea what the dealers will ask for the new Shelby? I heard just under 40K?? Also, are they available to order yet?? Thanks

Looked at the site, thanks. It's going to be interesting, that's for sure! My 05' GT is looking better and better. I thought if it was in striking distance that I would consider the swap. Anything over $45K makes it tough for a guy supporting a family. You would think that Ford would humble themselves considering the lay-offs and plant closings. Oh well......

Don't sweat about it too much. there will be an initial markup followed by sticker price followed by deals. They are projecting between 7000 and 10,000 the first year. There will be plenty to go around. Don't fall prey to the markup.

My dealer just gave me some info on pricing.
They tellin me they will be asking alittle over MSRP, but not much.
they will be asking "$41,399" for a coupe, verts will be "$45,299"

My guess is that is $1500 to $2000 over sticker. Doesn't seem that bad, but, that is direct depreciation. You drive off the lot, you lose the regular depreciation plus the extra 2 Grand. Don't be foolish unless you absolutely have to have one of the first ones. 10k a year (if R&T is right) is a lot of cars.

Don't be a :geek: just say :stubborn: to price hikes at :clown: dealers and you won't be :cry: later.
