I'm going by this evening to take some pix of a red one. Not sure if its Redfire or if its Torch Red. I'll send the pix tomorrow morning to Brad so he can post them.

All Saleens have numbers on the front bumbers to verify that they were actually manufactured by Saleen and not a clone, The numbers can be traced.

Number 37 is the build number, if I'm not mistaken.

I am starting to get confused. That white saleen is hot, but the back trunk lid is completely different that the silver one they have been showing everyone...... :bang: I hated the silver but why do they keep changing styles. I see the same thing with Roush.

All this car needs is 2 Guardsman Blue Shelby stripes down the middle, and it would be complete .

Agree completely. And thanks for the name of the blue for the Shelby stripes.

The silver one is the blown version, the one you see here is NA, hence just the ducktail.

I hated the silver with the extra tacked on spoiler but this white one is the best one I have seen to date. And how can you not like the wheels they fit this car to a T.

can you put that duck tail on a gt or do you have to change the rear bumper as well. I like that better than the cdc because it has the 3rd brake light in it.

That looks like the same rear end to me. The only differences I see is this one is without the spoiler, both had always had the ductail. I believe the Sonic Blue that was posted the other day did not have the innermost taillights blacked out.

Actually so far this is my favorite 05. Its goregous. I think Saleen really came through on the car. I personally love the hood. Atleast it doesnt have a tacked on usless hood scoop. The front end just looks mean .
That's the stock hood.

last one

Is that the stock quarter-panel window?

Yep, it even still has the Ford sticker on it.

Why do you think they left it stock?

Are you talking about putting a louver or scoop there or changing the glass?
No, I'm disappointed that it was left stock. :notnice: [/b][/quote]
I think Saleen has Made several mistakes recently. The Sonic Blue Saleen on E-Bay that was posted here, didn't have the Blackouts on the inboard tail lights, but did have the Saleen Trim on the Rear Quarter Window. And after looking at the pics of it, i believe all it is is a trim piece mounted over the stock Quarter Window. I prefer the Stock Look of the Quarter Window over the Saleen Trim, because I like how it just has a Clean Edge, and No Gasket. Same with the Rear window, Ford made it with No Gasket.

Perhaps those are optional things and were left off. Actually I prefer the stock quarter window over what Saleen has put on the other versions. I also can't stand the covering of the taillight, why did they do that? Mustang's are known for the tri-bar tail lights.

The black-outs are just removable clips.

The quarter panel window is a whole dofferent piece of glass not a trim piece mounted over the window.

NO! Look at how the edge of the Spoiler addition Continues down into the top of the Bumper, and the Breakline where the Spoiler Section and Bumper Meet. Compared to the GT Pic' Below.
