I wish I was that creative... what ever made you think of a cone?
I wish I was that creative... what ever made you think of a cone?and I saw my Coney Corner stuff.
Here's some of the rejected ideas:
Conda, Cone trooper, Sith Cone master, Obe Wan Coney, R2Dcone....
...but, Darth Coney worked best with the Tiki.
Okay, that's enough of a peek inside my little warped mind.

Well, I was organizing some files, to prepare for a couple more possible commercial projects,
and I saw my Coney Corner stuff.

I'm still waiting for some info on the man behind the toons
lol... thanx, but I meant orginally, how did you think up Coneys corner?
I started doing mimics of comic characters in elementary school in the 60's.
I could do all of the "Peanuts" characters, a strip call "Tumbleweeds,"
and many of the basic comic book heros.
Then I would create my own story lines and draw single panel gags or 3 panel strips.
These were traded to my friends for all kinds of crazy things and most often for snacks.
I also did a lot of toon characters for posters and stuff like that in jr high.
I applied to attend a vo-tech school in the commercial art program,
but was accepted in to the drafting and design field (I didn't go to a regular high school).
That's where my focus was switched to the technical side of drawing and I eventually stopped drawing toons.
Started back drawing again in 97 after retiring early (back injury) from the military.
Creating Coney came from my love of club level road racing.
I really need to take sometime to develop more of the material
and then try to market it to a couple motorsports magazines.
