recent film scans
Those first two pics are gorgeous!!
Great shots! RVP is awesome. You get the equivalent of about 25 megapixels with a good lens (which I'm sure you have). Almost makes me want to go back to film. But for everything I do, 8MP is plenty.
I haven't tried shooting this in 35mm format, but I probably won't though. I never seem to do anything with my 135 negatives. To small for me to scan and get anything useful for printing over 8x10, and I don't print traditionally. 6x7cm gives me great scanning results though, plenty for an 11x14 (my usual print size). Thinking about giving a 4x5in setup a shot, but not sure I have the time to do that just now.
Great photo's Hod did you get such close access to some of the drag shots? My be I'll see you at Samy's camera Venice! Since youre located in Culver City, I go there a lot!Bill
I am usually given permission/credentials to shoot next to the track. Usually because I'm there with the group who is putting on the drag race, so it's no problem to get permission to access the track.
I hit Sammys on Fairfax, never been to the Venice branch.
(my main site is down, the images will show up again soon!)

I used Dreamweaver and Photoshop to create the website (along with CSS and some PHP, and the gallery was a modified PHP script)
Cars and landscapes are my thing. I'm getting more and more into landscapes now that I'm in California with so much variety! Later this year I'm going to be switching my medium format setup for a large format 4x5 setup for most of my landscapes.
The infrared is mostly digital, I picked up a used canon 10d and had the IR filter replaced with a filter that blocks everything else accept for IR. So it's basically it's an IR camera only, doesn't see visible light anymore. I don't use it to often, but it's cool to break out every now and then :-)
