Yeah its fun. I also mod my cars... like on the Red Plymouth it came in race or street version...i took the long tube headers from the race version and cut the street exhaust to fit with the long tubes! I also custom painted the seats to have inserts with red with black stripe to match the red and black stripe exterior.

The Black 1966 Fastback was supposed to be a GT350H but i used the vents instead of the quarter windows and made a suped up 66 fastback instead of the shelby.

Beleive it or not i hand painted all of the car bodies except the Saleen i used spray paint.

Nice work--do you use spray can or air bursh for painting the bodies?

I got about 2 dozen kits just waiting to be built some day.
Maybe my boys will want to build them some day.

I used a spray can on the Saleen S351.

But the others i dipped my brush in paint and hand painted them... I was suprised how good they look being done with a brush.

nice job dude.

ahh, i remember the models i built.... absolutley atrocious lol. well i've only done one car model, and it came out alright aside from the fact that its falling aprat now. and it wasnt my model, i built it for a 7 year old cousin a while back, it was a 98 saleen. meh, painting is something i have concluded is NOT in my future lol.

props to all you guys who can hold a paintbrush steady!

Nice job man!

I'm almost done building a Mystic Cobra (custom painted) and I'm beginning a 1970 Ford Torino Cobra in Calypso Coral. I buid them and them give them as gifts to friends.

They make great presents! I just gave my 1968 GT 390 from "Bullitt" to my manager as a present since he has a 1967 S-Code (they're close).
