Aquarium Pictures *DUW*
Not sure if everyone does or not, but I consider photography an art. Im not great at it, but I have a pretty decent eye and usually get creative things in pictures (remember the hand series).
I went by my local saltwater fish store on lunch to get some sample photo's for them. It was really hard to get alot of teh good tanks because they face the front of the store and it had the sun glaring through the front really bad. I am going to swing by there one night and get some really good photo's when the tanks will show up really well.
Once I get these done well, I may be doing more of their tanks that they setup and maintain throughout the city. Btw, this is the largest saltwater fish store in the southeast and easily has almost 10,000 gallons of water pumping through the place. Its quite amazing.

Dont worry chuck, I'll be taking alot more in the near future. Here are a few pics from my friend Drew's tank. He took the pics and did an amazing job with them.

Cool pics. I know it is hard taking pictures of something on the other side of some glass in low light.
It is hard to do. It will be 100x better once I go back at night. The lights from the aquariums will provide a better view and hopefully the glass wont even be a factor at that point. Also im looking into a underwater case for my digital camera so that may be something to make things better in the future.
wow, those glowy thingies look great
oh yeah, i forgot to mention, i think photography is an art was well. i aslo think being able to hold the camera still for more than 3 seconds is an art. the truth is, im not good at either

The "glowing" pics are where there are actinic bulbs being used. Anything that looks really purple is usually when its just actinics turned on which simulate the way light is deeper in the ocean where water has filtered out all colors of the spectrum except blue, which it cant well. The other pics like the one with the clownfish are with teh actinics and daylight bulbs on. There are alot of lighting setups out there. Ive got one on the way that is going to be quite phenomanal.
Here are some more pics. I took these of 390 4spd's tank over at his house. He's a member of this forum and friend of Brad and myselfs. His is 210 gallon built into the wall and absolutly gorgeous.
