You could get some cool ideas from Fantasia 2000's "Pines of Rome" segment. Awesome work, Chuck!

 

Chuck I like the first bot..just remeber one thing. Make the characters simple to draw so you wont get tired of doing them.. Part of my problem with WaVP

 

Yeap, that's part of my plan, very detailed development drawings to learn the characters, followed by reducing them to very simple line drawings of the final cast "images."

They must be fast to draw and easy to reproduce!

 

Here's a try are pixel coloring the lil" bot.
Probably too much detail for a panel strip character, but it's still just practice.
