I haven't been around for a while, did I miss something? What happened with the drive shaft. Did someone snap a u-joint or something?

They were dyno testing Afixer's car with the new X-Charger and the driveshaft exploded at 130MPH.

I'm impressed! With Doug working on this for us, I'm so glad the Procharger group buy didn't materialize. I'm going to wait for this one too!

Doug,

Will you be offering a turn key installation? If you will be, what would be the total cost and how long would it take from the time I arrive and the time I point my car back up to carolina?

Holy Crap Tom - that is sick. I just watched the video 6 times and am amazed at your takeoff with the new charger. Congrats...

Doug - really looking forward to final numbers and where this kit is going

This does sound nice. I don't know what to do now. Gas is going to be horribly expensive soon to the point where I won't even spring for 93 octane anymore, so the point of running turbo is kind of dissipating. I'm sure doug can put out a great tune for an xcharger @ 87 oct. And at 3500 the price is definitely right. decisions!

Dont dis-count the feeling of 6psi.. I know in my car, I cant really see my surroundings when the boost needle is at 6psi.. All you can do is hold the steering wheel and make sure the car remains going straight..

So I have no doubt that the xcharger feels insane at 6psi of boost at 2000RPM... Example for me I make 6psi by 3200RPM while at WOT..

So this means, in any gear at any time, if I press the throttle to WOT I will be at full boost.. If the RPM's are at 3200RPM and I go WOT at any time, things get real blurry real fast..

So I myself can understand what 6psi of boost feels like.. Its no joke..

I love the way the Nitrous comes off the line... so the fact that the X-Charger makes so much boost down low has really peaked my interest....

Also, take my advice on this, you are going to need more than 6psi of boost.. I would get the intercooled Xcharger system and a pulley rated at no less than 9 or 10psi..

6psi wont be enough boost on our motors to hold off an onslaught of the V2 Supercharger.. Remember at 3200RPM I am at 6psi and building up shooting for 6000rpm.. This means, that once the xcharger maxes out at 6psi the the HP and TQ curve will be flat.. The centrifi will keep building as it heads towards 6000rpm.. This means car lengths..

So the trick with the Xcharger will be to make 9psi by 2000rpm and make me have to run you down..

Now of course for those with NOS, 6psi plus a shot of juice will be the ticket..

I'm not discounting 6psi or the xcharger. And looking at the xcharger, what about meth injection with high boost??????

Now that would produce some sick power down low. Beware, Scrming may have a built motor, and with the xcharger at 6psi, he will be a force to be reconed with.

Combine that with the fact that Johns good buddy, Lidio, loves meth injection and knows the ins and out of using it.

This all has me thinking where to spend the funds I allocated for my FI project in the next few months.

I know.. I know we have not seen the dyno yet for the system at 6psi.. However, I know 6psi on our motors is less than 300RWHP and TQ.. I would guess based on the design of the M90 and its ability to heat up the boost 6psi is most likley somewhere around 265RWHP and about 270RWTQ.. Nice thing about this is you will have this from 2000RPM until you cross the traps..

Not sure how the Meth will effect it Rygen.. If I were you I would stick with your NOS injection and the Xcharger if thats what you choose...

remember msp, this is a MP90, not an m90, which is drastically better as far as heatsoak goes.

Really, so this thing could actually hit closer to 300, and make power down low. This thing keeps looking better and better.

I wonder what kind of times I could get out of this thing running high boost, and meth injection. Be like nitrous on a wider powerband. May even yeild me 12's on dr's.

Hmmmmm.........

I see!! It would be spectacular if it could make it to 300RWHP @ 6psi!
