I need to know where the factory tensioner is if some can help. It says to insert a 3/8" rachet into the factory tensioner but it don't show that specific part in the procharger manual. I now its right there but where? LOL

Ahh yes, the stock belt tensioner.. You know it took me quite a long time to figure out that I was supposed to use a 3/8th's ratchet on that darn thing.. LOL!

Let me tell you, your lucky the book told you how to do it.. Its much easier with a 3/8th's ratchet.. LOL!!

My knuckles are jacked from my socket slipping off of the back idler nut.. LOL!

I like to learn things the hard way... It means more..

no.. DO NOT UNDO THE BOLT!!! There is a square box at the end of the arm... use a 3/8 inch socket wrench to move the arm... when I say socket wrench i mean JUST the wrench with NO sockets... The arm will swing and loosen up the belt...

He must loosen the bolt atleast, then use the ratchet to work for or against the tension..

Im not actually doing the install now. Im just getting info on the parts I think I'll be stuck on. LOL Ok I see the little box, It seems about impossible to move it with a little wrench but we'll see.

I can already tell this is going to take a few days for me LOL no 10 hours LOL

Nope... no need to loosen up the bolt.. the tensioner is spring loaded to keep tension on the belt..

You can buy a belt tensioner tool which s 3/8 inch square (like a socket wrench) on the end of a 3 foot bar... LOL
