You could put in cold air induction, have the computer programmed with a performance tune and change the exhaust from single to duals. It wold gain you some additoinal horsepower for a realtively low cost.

kript2 is right. if thats what you really wanted, should have never bought the v6. it is never gonna stand up to a v8( mod for mod). ive got every bolt on you can get. my car runs good, beats older v8`s, some stock ones, but ive put alot of money in it over the years. supercharger + supporting mods is the only thing that will put you close but at $7,000.00+, might just want to trade up for the small v8 and build on that
i couldnt afford a gt when i got mine so i just excepted it for what it was, and use it as a toy to play with. little at a time over the years is not too hard on the wallet, and its way spunkier that it was when i got it. its plenty quick on the street, but no strip car. its still fun to go to the track though !!!
tuner/cai, decent exhaust, gears, suspension wakes it up alot, but you wont be running with the v8`s at the end of the 1/4 mile
