Thumbs down

I know you all have been waiting for this one...2005-2006 V6 Systems Smog Legal Under CARB EO# D-213-24.

There is only one exception on the 2006 V6, that is group #6FMXV04.01FC. This group number should be on your emission tag under the hood.

Thank you Forced! Just in time.. Actually you still had 1 year to get it done, but none the less its a done deal.. This means all the gains I make are mine to keep, even after a smog test for registration renewal..

This is further evidence of the commitment of Vortech Superchargers for the 2005+ V6 Mustangs!

I am glad to be apart of the team, and wouldnt even consider using another product.. I have ordered my A/F Wideband gauge today, and it should be here tomorrow.. Following its installation, I will remove the 2.87in pulley and re-install the 2.62in pulley I bought from Chris at Vortech.. He is a pretty kool guy..

Anyway, I am going for 400RWHP.. I cant attempt this without the A/F gauge.. So I should be real safe from now on.. But as my thank you to Vortech for the dedication to the entire V6 community, it is my promise to all the guys at Vortech that I will grace this forum with a dyno of 400RWHP.. I will then follow this with a trip to the track..

I did not feel comfortable going to the track previously because I was basically in the dark in terms of A/F ratio.. But now I can see the light.. LOL!!

Vortech Rocks!

Hmm, I wasn't even aware that they were not smog legal. I'm sure it was just a matter of paperwork, right? There is a CARB # right on top of my blower, I thought all FI would have one before they could sell in California.

@MSP
Does/did the Pipeline Turbo have this same issue?

Last time I checked, the PH turbo was not smog legal in CA. I can inquire again next time I talk with them.
