Yes, I am. Tune is way too fat, but overall not too bad.

N/A

14.7 @ 98 MPH

Time slip long gone - this was at DAR in 2005 before I installed the 4:10's. At the time 14.7 did not seem all that remarkable, thus no reason to preserve time slip. I still want to go back to see improvement with the gears.

98MPH is really high trap speed for a NA car, you would be the only one I know of with a trap that high.

Hey Ron!

haven't talked to you in ages! LOL!

Ok... I know you are a VERY STAND UP GUY! Some one I would never question... but I will admit... 98MPH is really AWESOME! Most 14.7's I've seen are in the 93 range (including your's truly!)... Any chance you spun off the line... ???

Hi John,

I started to call you last week to check up on you but could not find the old email that had it. It has been awhile and you have really progressed nicely - more so than I. As to the time and speed deal: this was right after I got the car and all I had was a CAI and an SCT tune. Darlington had a T & T night and I ran my car. Yeah, I had some wheelspin coming off the line and maybe that has something to do with MPH. I don't know. Like I said 14.7 did not seem all that great (and still doesn't) at the time and 98 seemed about right. As you know, I've owned cars that turned low 12'2 and 14.7 did not seem like anything to write home about.
I still want to see what the car will do with the 4:10's as I think that with the gears and the Pirelli's I could shave a couple of 10ths off the 14.7. email me your phone number again and we'll talk.

Went back to the track on the 13th... knocked off a best of 14.3281@94.53, beating my old time by over a tenth. I had my BMR rad support installed for these runs. I ran pretty consistent 14.3's that day.
