ok, i'm not really one for street racing, but I have been curious as to what cars the new V6 could beat in a stock vs. stock just to get an idea of what its capable of.

I've only had once street race since January (racing is dangerous kids - don't try this at home)... and it wasn't worth it (but, oh so much fun!), except to put an engine revving Civic in it's place.

Those silly civics. Had the same experience recently at a light and this pimped out civic with rims and neon and stripes and tint and exhaust (Why? He could have gotten a much better car if he put all the money he spent on the upgrades into a new car) was reving and looked over. I let him go off the line and let him think he had me and then took off and passed him as I was hitting third. The next light he just pulled up behind me and let me go.
Dork. He's just lucky I didn't have a GT.

Tell her to race you in whatever she drives.
Like i've told people before, there a lots of cars (and i mean lots) that can beat the 05 v6 mustang. But find me another v6 car that costs less than $20k that can.

New Civic Si will have 200 hp and I don't think Mustang V6 will be able to beat it.

cobalt ss posted a 14.4 at the track on friday night, completely stock.
I have no intentions on winning when i do race one, but it would be fun to watch a 4cyl pull away lol.

20k? go to the dealer and check out the markup they have on it
The local chevy dealer to me had their cobalt ss askin price at 26 somin
The local dodge dealership had their srt4 at 28,500, now down to 26,700
Thats gt territory.
