Hello all. I'm now ready to get a CAI & Tuner for my V6 now that i have the dual exhaust installed & body work done. I need any help you can give me as far as what to look for, who to go with, that kinda thing. Keep in mind that I have an Auto transmission. Thanks for the help. Cash in hand & looking for the best i can find.

Automatic Transmission: go with Doug @ BamaChips with tunning an CAI or I believe the other guy was at Alternative Auto.

 

CAIs are a toss up, Id love to see a break down on dynos for the CAIs available on the market right now. C&L has one out soon, and Im still waiting for a showing from Jay and JLT. These two had the most outstanding results for the GT, and my hopes remain with them for the v6.

Doug is one heck-of-a-guy to work with from BamaChips. Ive been dealing with him for almost a year now and have absolutely no compalints. He's not only a pleasure, but a dream to work with. I wish everyone in the business opperated like he does.

Lidio, from Alternative Auto, recieves raving results from Scrming. Those two have done some amazing things with Scrming's v6 auto. All signs point towards him being very reputable.

I dont think you'd go wrong with either. I can vouch for Doug through my own experiences, but Lidio only through reputation and word of mouth. Doug is based out of Birmingham, Lidio out of Michigan (I do believe.. somewhere up there)
