Upgrade your brakes! Cheap!
Check out what I just scoped out on Saleen's sight...
correct me if i am wrong but the rear brakes are the same, so you would only need two. thats 100 bucks pretty dang cheap. plus you have to change out your wheels and tires as the 16s wont fit with the GT brakes.
but would it be of benefit?

Left and right calipers are different, and I only see one part number so I am assuming that is for the front pair. BTW GTs and V6s use the same diameter rear brakes. V6 models have 11.5" rotors V8 models have 12.4" rotors.

I don't think you can put GT (12.4") front brakes on a 16" wheel. You need 17" or better for clearance.

I found someone that would sell me American Racing Torq Thrust II 17x8s WITH a full set of pirelli tires for 900 bucks.. God its good knowing people. And off topic.
When would you need to, or want to upgrade the breaks? What benefit would there be from upgrading only our front breaks? Greater stopping power only I guess?

I just ordered a set. Not bad $75 shipped (Have to figure with the rotors this will be a pretty hefty package)
As to the "why" of doing such an upgrade, yeah, stopping power (I mean what else are brakes really for?
)

That wheel does not fit the GT brakes. One person tried to put those on in 17", and had to grind off the corner of the caliper

Woah, can you give me some more details on that please? Are the 17s too small? Need 18s?

That's exactly what he meant. That particular American racing wheel has a problem. The GT 17"-ers and most other 17" wheels for the Mustang fit a-ok.
BTW: Thomas, can I use you as an example for my girlfriend that I'm not the only one that uses the word "Unpossible". I picked it up from Ralph Wiggum on the Simpsons, and use it when I'm kidding around, and she thinks I'm the only person on earth to use it LOL
