Umm...not good (4.10 & T-Lok) HELP!

So, I got my 4.10 and T-Lok installed on Wednesday at my local mustang shop here.

Drove it home last night (everything was fine).

Drove it out tonight a little and boom.

Vibration noises start, then clicking (clucking), then fluid starts to pour out.

Pull into the parking lot and the fluid poured out of the girdle into a puddle.

Drove it back to the shop (which was closed) and left it.

What happened? Why did it leak so much?

dunno about RTV, but if it is a gasket problem, it should be the faul of the dudes that installed the parts, since they should have installed the gasket right when doing your gears and Tlok

He proabably tried to re-use the old carrier bearings.. Ask them if they installed new carrier bearings after they removed the stock unit.. The carrier bearings are only good for one install.. You shouldnt re-use them..

opened it up today and...t-lok in pieces and quarter sized hole in the girdle.

they are replacing the t-lok and girdle for free.

what could have caused it to go?

I know it's 7.5, but it has no "big" power-adders (no nos, sc, or turbo).

Also, I didn't drive it hard before it broke...but how long are you supposed to wait to drive these things?

I'm really thinking the shop just botched the job. It makes very little sense otherwise
