Read where someone replaced OEM rear trailing arms with aftermarket ones (not Steeda). what's the point...I only want a stiffer ride, not to race. Should I do this?

Scming did it. He needed to control rear wheelhop while launching at the dragstrip

After re-reading my initial post, I thought I should clarify it.
I know I can replace the shocks and/or springs to lower the car and stiffen-up the ride. I would like a little firmer ride and flater cornering - will replacing the trailing arms help accomplish any of this?

Nope... what you need is a rear sway bar... and possibly upgrade the front sway bar... The LCAs holds the rear axle in place...
