John,
I hope you don't mind me jumping in here but, I disagree with you on this point. Your 4.10's cost you a small amount of both torque and hp. This is due to the fact that higher reduction ratio's are inherently more inefficient. If you ignore that small loss, the Dyno could care less what ratio is in there. Your high torque is purely due to your N2O setup.
BTW, nice numbers I will make sure I stay away from you.

Could it be Lidios automatic tune? I wonder if making it shift barbaric is jacking up the TQ. You, Jimp and I are all autos running on 100HP juice. But all of us have different numbers, though Jimp and I are similiar.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Fazm @ March 8, 2006, 5:07 PM) Quoted post</div><div class='quotemain'>With just an intake and tune i ran a 14.73 with my 5 speed manaul. With the auto id say maybe a 14.9 or a 15.0 would be a good run.

Hmmm... Referring to Scrming's pre-Zex era, he was running 14.922 with 265/60/16 tires, MMR intake, Lidio's tune, 4.10, and T-Lok. I'm not certain if the 4.10, T-Lok and bigger wheels helped him at all, but I know when he jumped to the C&L he got a little better response. Wish it was comparable, but added altnernator pulleys before he switched intake..

I was hoping at least 14.9..

Well, the pull is in 4th gear only.... so the shifting has nothing to do with it.... I guess there could be some torque management stuff left in your tune.... Time to come to Michigan!!!! LOL!

John,
I agree that your numbers seam high, but your 4.10's have nothing to do with it. If you take a stock vehicle and just add 4.10's the RWTQ as displayed on the Dyno's display will slightly decrease. I bolded part of that statement because the actual torque applied to the ground by your tire at a given mph in a given gear will of course increase by about 24% (4.10/3.31).

Short explanation of an Inertial Dyno:
1. Your car accelerates the Dyno's drum
2. Dyno measures that acceleration of its drum
3. Computer calculates hp from RI of drum and Acceleration of drum
4. Computer calculates torque from hp and rpm of engine

Those tire were HUGE!!! They were like 28.5" tall! LOL! They looked good but were killing my performance...
