I've had the Airraid TBS installed since last summer and it seems to have totally wrecked my fuel mileage. Has anyone else encounted this problem? I'm removing it once the cai gets put on and tunes loaded so this will go away in a few weeks. I don't know why it would affect mileage but it sure didn't get any better than stock.

 

Your mileage may improve when you get a tune. I have the airaid and my mileage dipped a little. The tune improved my mpg slightly and gave it gobs more power. Every CAI needs a tune no matter what is stated.

 

Throw the TBS out or sell it. They are a complete waste of money and give you very little if anything in terms of power. This has been proven several times on here with dyno results.

 

100.00 bucks for a cool whistle kinda sucks...
