Throttle Body Spacers

Hi,
I'm sure there has been threads in the past but I have a question for the group. How do you feel about throttle body spacers. Do they improve MPG. Also what brand. I see some that are smooth and some that spiral to make the air churn. I've read that the swirl improves combustion and I've read the opposite. I'm looking at the poweraid made by air raid. Also the spacer made by MMR. Any information from the group would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Myself and many other member have deffinetly felt benefits from the install of TB Spacer. It deffinetly took some of the lag out of my throttle response. I have the JET-FLO Spacer, very easy to install.

heres a quote from someones signature with a gt....
new dyno #'sW/O SPACER 293hp/315 tq,1/4 mile --?
12/13/05 - w/ spacer 290hp/310tq
that shows a loss of 3rwhp and 5rwtq. really worth it huh?

It was dyno tested on a V6 by a member over at MustangForums, with a gain of 0 RWHP and 0 RWTQ. I wouldn't bother with this one.
