OK, now that I got my C&L intake and X-cal2 in the car I am itching to get the gears and FRPP t-loc.
Even though I'm extremely happy with the results of the intake and tunes I'm ready for more already!
Funny how a little is never enough, huh?
Anyone got any recomendations on where to buy this stuff from?
Best service and price.
I'm looking for the 3.73 gears and a Ford Racing t-loc.
Thanks

I got my motive 4.10s and bearing kit from mustangtuning.com. For my TLOK MSP reffered me to a ebay auction from someone he bought from before. I can't remember which ebay store it was from, but it was like 184 shipped.
Hopefully he will chime in here.
You will love this upgrade!!!!

The place that is supposed to do it said early December. I haven't heard from them. I tried to call a couple times but can't get through. I guess they don't want my money. I may have to go out of town to get it done. This place is supposed to be the best place to get it done locally. I'm really getting tired of waiting.

I had the same problem. I went to 3 places before I found a shop to do it, then they messed it up, but luckily I caught it in time and had Excessive fix it.
I would check with your local mustang club to find a shop. Thats what I did.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Mustang Tuning & eBay. I also saw Don at V6 Mustang Stuff had the t-loc and 3.73 gears for $199.99 each but did not show the bearing kit.
I'm going to check out a local shop today that was recomended by my regular mechanic and see what they say about the install as far as $$ and when they can do it.

Got everything ordered today.
T-loc coming from V6 Mustang Stuff $199 + shipping
3.73 gears & bearing kit coming from Mustang Tuning $145 + $75 + FREE shipping BUT, the gears are out of stock, I'll have to wait
Found a local installer recomended by two trusted friends - $300 for the install.
All together will be around $800 but it will be worth it.
So much for waiting for that bonus from work!
I'll let you know how it turns out.

A friend told me he could hook me up with an Auburn LSD, and Richmond gears. Hopefully he pulls through.
Good luck on that Gary. For 300 bucks don't take anything short of perfection

Thanks ManEHawke.
I spent about 30 minutes talking to the guy and looking at his shop. He seems good and he's local.
My old boss from when I worked at a service station for three years and another guy I've know for 10 years recomended him so I'm pretty confident in the job he'll do. He said he's done them before on Mustangs and just did a Cobra last month.
I'm sure this will be the perfect compliment to the C&L and SCT I just put in last week.

It will be and you will LOVE it! Put some 3.73s and a Detroit TrueTrac in about 3 weeks ago with a CAI and an SCT XCAL2. The difference is night and day. I am hesitant to go to WOT in anything less than third gear as I get slammed back in my seat and the car literally leaps forward. In 3rd and 4th, I simply shoot forward and pass anyone that I need to. But 1st and 2nd are a little scary... You will not regret it. Also, the car just feels A LOT more stable and will correct itself QUICKLY! 'Nuff said!

Today is my cars "birthday". It wasn't built today but this is the day I brought her home one year ago. The CAI & SCT Xcal2 were my present for her last week and the gears and t-loc will make a nice one when they get here!
