Question Superchargers & fuel octane?

Hi ...

Which of the superchargers for the v6 runs with regular octane fuel? Or, are they all tunable for either regular or premium octane?

Thank you,
CM

well.... techincally you might be able to tune it for like 89 octane... but of course performance would really suffer... kind of defeating the purpose of a SC... LOL

I dont know Scrming... As you know from experience, the curve on the V2 hits fast and hard... As the V2 is pushing boost into the intake, and the motor is quickley spinning up making the V2 push even more boost, it might be a touchy situation using 89 octane.. Of course he can set his timing to about +9 or +10.. If he doesnt I am sure the knock sensor will... LOL!!

So hell why not, throw some 87 octane in it, and make your knock sensor earn your respect! LOL!!

I don't know if I would just throw 87 in the tank without a tune for 87... those knock sensors can only do so much! LOL!

Get a tune for 87...pull lots of timing and add extra fuel... LOL!
