Supercharger for V6 S197

I was wondering,is there anyone in the forum that can give good insight and advice on buying a new or used supercharger for a V6,and what manufacturer and what kind (i.e roots, magnuson etc) is the best to bolt on,and what kind of power could i be looking at to the wheels(estimate)? I have a 2007 V6 Stang,an its slow, lol. Any help is appreciated

I'm guessing you haven't searched the past posts yet. Search for X-charger.

Silver Horse Racing has what you need. I'll be doing mine once my factory warranty has expired.

I run the Explorer Express X-Charger Xtreme Intercooled supercharger. I have 107,000 miles on the supercharger and 137,000 miles on the engine with now problems at all. The X-Charger can make up to 330RWHP depending on which tune and available octane fuel you use.

This kit uses an Eaton/Magnuson MP90 roots style blower and the install is pretty easy if you are use to working on cars. Definitely a DIY install IMO but could be intimidating for some people.

They sell direct and through retailers like SileverHorseRacing, Stage3Motorsports, Steeda, American Muscle and others. They also offer the best customer support in the industry IMO.

Another thumbs up for the X-Charger. 35K+ miles on mine, including 3 cross country trips, and not a hint of a problem.

If the torque hit from the "X" doesn't put a smile on your face, the scream of the blower definitely will

Another vote for the xcharger xtreme here! Like Torch said, the scream of the Xcharger at wide open throttle will make you smile as much as the torque.

Like Nice Pony I have a lot of miles on my car and Xcharger; I think we have the most miles on the system. I have 173,000 miles on the car and didn't put the Xcharger on until 90,000 miles were on the engine. No problems and I drive it hard with many 1/4 mile passes on it from April to November each year and Nice Pony drives his hard on the road courses.
