I was thinking of buying some decent tires for the stock rims but I can get 17" GT takeoff bullitts for $525. That is only a little more than a set of decent tires alone.

Anyone know how the GT's Pirelli tires handle compared to the v6's BF Goodrich?

 

They handle MUCH better. I noticed a difference right away. The stock tires on the V6 belong on a minivan, not a Mustang.
