She idles good... She sounds good... No oil or water leaks..

The car will not sound like a familiar V6 after this project... Based on my design and use of a Prochamber dump area located downstream of the turbines just about the midway area of the car, the sound under boost should be very traumatic.. Not like anything currently available to us..

Next step is to take it to the intake via the intercooler.. After that, I can start to build some boost... Keep the faith!

LOL!! Man, as long as I can get these babies to make some boost its all good!! I dont care how pretty it is..

I look at these things as units to an airpump or "Boost Creation Unit" I am building in front of the engine to assist in the generation of HP and TQ!

Once there is some more polished pipes in the engine bay it will look alittle more appealing.. LOL!

Also Chris, let me know if you need anything.. I just slapped a fresh coat of polish on some other units which serve a similar purpose...

Looks good too!!

Intercooler Hotside piping is complete!!

Intercooler hotside piping complete and plumbed!! Using my hand to feel the force of air at idle, it is apparent that these Garrett 2560's really enjoy combining their respective strength into one pipe..

I am shocked at how forcefull the air is even while the car is at idle..

I also notice that the turbos really start to speed up as the water temp gets to about 180F... You can visually see the speed of the impellers increase starting at 175F up towards 180F... As the turbines get hotter the impellers increase their efficiency in terms of rotational speed...

Again they push pretty hard through the piping at idle...

Looks like it's coming along nicely. When you say it's running, you mean w/o the intercooler, right? You mentioned something about plumbing that in next.

How about a little video for the teeming masses??

Yes running with the MAF disconnected.. This is the test mode of our computers.. This way I can let the engine warm up to temperature alng with the turbos...

Just need to make the coldside this week.. Couldnt buy any parts over the weekend.. Nothing with turbo parts was open.. LOL!!

How you doing Flapjack?

Once I get it running I will contemplate a video.. I was thinking of making a drive video with the camera over my left shoulder pointed at the boost gauge.. This way you could see the needle sweep past zero, and how soon.. Still kickin the idea around..

I would of course have Evanesence in the background..

Check out the " Bring Me to Life" video! Thats my cars song!

Things are going well. Finally got the 8.8" on order. I decided to stick with 3.73s, so I'm gonna have to order them again as well.... blah. Nitrous is in, so I may be installing that shortly. Not sure about fuel levels. I'll have to try a few test runs on the dyno to ensure my fuel supply is adequate for a 35-75 shot with the same boost I'm running now (14psi). I'm hoping it'll put me over 500 RWHP, even with the timing backed down a few degrees....

Things look like they're coming along just fine. What was your solution for getting around the k-member?

I went with a radiator support swaybar delete which made things much easier...

Man, your running some serious power adding options.. LOL!! Please be carefull... 35shot is all that is needed...

Off to work FlapJack! I'll PM you later on! Dont do anything foolish.. Like run a 75shot with 14psi... LOL!!

I would rather see you invest in a dual fuel pump setup first before attempting it.. The nitrous will hit hard and fast.. Couple that to a build up of 14psi of boost, and you could run out of fuel...

Your on the right track, but leaving the fuel pump in single mode could be dangerous..

The Dual GT Fuel Pump setup cost about $700 bucks..

Which is much cheaper than replacing the motor... Just a thought my very good and loyal friend.. We gotta look out for each other..

I would never turn my back on you, ever!!

I hear you. We've had our quibbles, but hey... nothing serious. You're right about the pump, it's just the lowest I've seen the fuel pressure go is down to 36psi, and that was at Norwalk at 14psi. Up here in the clouds, it doesn't gobble fuel quite as much...

With the blower alone @ 14psi 11.0-11.5 A/F is ok.. However 14psi with lets say a 75shot, your going to want to keep the A/F at about 10.8-11.0...

Since you will be over 500RWHP, you cant do it running 14psi... Since you must run the tune alittle richer with the nitrous all by itself, then you can see how running it with 14psi, would require it to be even more richer..

Mike Bowen said in the past that about 430RWHP is the limit for our pumps.. Your at 440RWHP without nitrous on 14psi...

You might be pushing it with the 35shot..

I would call Mike Bowen over at Powerhouse, and grill him on his personal opinion which as you know carries alot of weight.. I'll PM you later man!

Are you thinking at all about marketing your design to sell to the rest of us?
