I'm getting this done either tomorrow or Friday. Pretty sure the manual says synthetic, lemme go look.

FOUND IT!!!

Mustang Enthusiest Magazine. Newest Issue: March 2006.

Synthetic oil is NOT recommended during the break-in period (approximately 50 miles). We tried Redline synthetic first and can attest that the unit needs regular gear oil to wear-in properly."
