I wonder if this is the one Doug was supposed to dyno earlier this week. Haven't seen any results for it yet.

Would the throttle body require a tune?

Don't know if this is the same TB Doug had on the dyno or not, his email indicated the one he tested on a rental car produced NO gains at all. Again don't know if this is the same piece or not.

no gains, eh? that's kinda what I figured.

Is it fraud for these aftermarket peeps to advertise these inflated gains?

I don't think you'll see any gains without a poweradder. Kind of like with headers and a dual exhaust. A N/A engine just doesn't need that much air flow.

I saw gains with my duals with Bassani Mufflers over when I had a single Bassani Muffler.

Doug? Where are you...

I think when a manufacturer claims around 10-12 HP gains, they are usually comparing a showroom stock car to a car with their part PLUS SCT tuning. I think we all realize that the tuning alone can result in those kinds of gains. So if the marketing b.s. says anthing less than 15-20 improvement, I'm just assuming that it's worthless.

Just my 2 cents.
