New K&N intake for the V6

There's a second K&N kit for the V6 listed on their site now. This one is polished aluminum rather than plastic, and overall looks similar to AEM's piece (with the exception that like their plastic kit, this one also requires that you cut the connector off the car's crankcase vent hose. AEM's has the proper fitting to just snap it on the same as the factory setup.)

Nice find! Now that's a good looking intake! Too bad there's no info on gains yet.

This new one looks a lot nicer........

the new one is smog legal for all you california drivers. The first one that came out wasn't..

The page says 7RWHP gain at 5200... there is also a link to a dyno sheet...

Looks alot better, but wouldnt the plasitc flow lower temped air as it wont heat up as much?

D'oh! That wasn't there earlier! They must have just added that info. So... the new intake has slightly less of a gain than the old one. Well... I guess I'll keep looking out for the right intake.

Yep, nothing like plastic for the intake.
