Just got off the phone with C&L. They are now production complete with the new V6 CAI. It matches the GT version that has proven to be very popular. Today they used a V6 Automatic and their new V6 CAI on the Dyno. They posted a minimum gain of 12RWHP. They are building their web page to show the pics of the car, the pics of the CAI installed, and the actual dyno run sheets. The web will be ready by end of next week. You can call C&L and order the CAI now.

They also will have a package CAI and Predator tuner. The CAI WILL require a tune and C&L swears by the Predator as the best available. I spoke with them at length in relation to the Xcal2 and they believe the predator has more to offer. It will come with 4 performance tunes.

CAI alone will be $299. CAI and Predator will be $649.

Your call on predator verses the Xcal2. I talked with Alternative Auto and they will be purchasing the V6 CAI fro C&L and developing the new tune for the xcal2 next week. Not sure what the pricing will be for the C&L and Xcal2 from Lidio.

Is that 12rwhp before or after the tune? or just a general "minimum." It like to hear more like "25rwhp guaranteed after tune"

 

Call C&L directly. Be careful about what you exspect from a CAI and tune. Be realistic. 25 may be possible, but only a true dyno test will be the proof. Claims are nothing more than opinion with conviction. Next week the web will post actual dynos.

glad to hear this. Out of all the CAI's out there, I like the look of this one the best. Hopefully someone will coem up with an Xcal2 tune for it as well.
