My next mod: LCA's (what to get?!?!?)
Well, I'm researching for my next mod, and wanted to get some opinions before I pull the trigger. Also wanted to get some opinions on UCA's as well, and if they are really needed.
So far, I like what I hear on the BMR's, here is what I'm looking to get:
http://www.bmrfabrication.com/2005Mustang.htm
TCA019 Tubular Lower Control Arms w/poly bushings $119.95 pr.
Heres a pic of them:

I have never had LCA's put on my car, so I welcome everyone's input on them. Thanks everyone!

I've been thinking of getting the Powerhouse LCAs.

Good find, I can definitely trust Mike when it comes to stuff like this. No doubt these are on his V6 project car.

I like that you don't need to grease them and the built-in parking brake cable retainer.

Yes, the built in parking brake retainer caught my eye too. Do other's not support that?

None of the one's that I've seen. I've been itching to order those, just waiting until I pay off my CC. Maybe I won't wait, heh.

I would definitely pick up the drive shaft loop!!
I would also put a call in to Mike and PHP.

Thanks! So the drive shaft loop reinforces my drive shaft? What exactly does it do?

Rygn it's a safety issue with the amount of TQ you will be pulling if (and they could) U joints break the drive shaft will pop off your rear end spinning out of control at a high RPM and could strike you gas tank and that could be dangerous. I would research more because that one said front drive shaft loop which will help but also research it there is a rear loop I thought I read there was a rear awhile ago.

You only need a driveshaft loop if you are going to run slicks - it's a safety item required by most tracks (keeps the car from flipping if the front u-joint breaks). But, it's only required for cars running slicks.
Hmmm, won't be running slicks this season, but will research it none the less. Thanks everyone.

Rygn & Scrib in the quote below the guy is not running slicks but street tires, its you're call but Rygn I would install one it's a low cost item. You will be pulling a high amount of TQ that Ford did not test with on the rear end U joints or drive shaft.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>"You can look at the pic and see the car has tires that hook up pretty good. I've changed the axles and drive shaft. Also added a safety loop since Ford ran the gas tank right next to the drive shaft. Really good thinking! I don't mind the spinning I'm guessing in the long run if it hooks up I'm going to break something. On another sh-ty note no parts. Looks like another 7-10 days at the least. This really Sucks!!!" Well for 100 bucks if it is more safe than I'll do it, just want to do more research on it. But I appreciate you digging this up man. A small price to pay to take extra precautions.
