I want to tune my girlfriends 2005 v6 using my apple ibook..Is this possible, is there any software and cable i can use to do this..Anyone know how to do this..thanks

 

I haven't heard of anything for Mac yet.

 

And given what a small percentage of the overall market the Mac holds, we probably won't. Maybe try to find a friend's PC you could borrow to do your tuning?

 

Isn't there a prgoram that will emulate Windows on a Mac, if so, you could use that to run Windows oriented tuning software on your Mac.

 

There are emulation programs. But, they can be expensive. Finding a friend with Windows would probably be much easier.

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm glad my wife has a Dell (I'm a Powerbook guy) for when I get an X-cal.

The tuning software is only available on PC, if that's what you're asking.

 

What is the tuning software and does it connect to the stang?

Isn't it easier to jsut buy a programmer like the Jet or whatever esel is out there?
