i just wanted to know if anyone know if the driver side can just have muffler mounting hangers screwed in just like they are on the passenger side?

are the screw holes already there? or do they have to be welded?

Holes are there and I believe the bolts are self tapping. Mine are collecting dust until I get the GT/CS bumper installed.

 

so the meatball that put mine did not have to weld it??

I bought the hangers from Ford and they bolted right in .. holes already there .... no need to weld.

 

Same here, the hangers just bolted right up, the holes were already there. No need to weld the driver side in - the car is stamped and cut the same for the V6 and GT so the muffler hanger will mount up no problem

 

did the bolts come with your hangers??

i got mine from pypes so they didnt ..guess i gotta go to the dealer and order then for 3 a pop lol

 

you could just run a tap through them or use the ones from passenger side to clean the holes out then pick up bolts at home depot plus you will have two extra bolts from passenger side just need two more.
