Magnaflow SINGLE and DUAL exhaust kits PICS!

Well, that is true for low output engines, but once you get to higher output, the X pipe does flow better, so that is what they use. (look under a cobra, they have an X pipe.) The point I was making was that using and X pipe wouldn't help with the backpressure loss situation. In fact, it would cause an even bigger loss in back pressure since it flows better than an H pipe.

To those who have the Magnaflow dual setup on their cars, did you install it yourself or have someone else install it for you? And since it's been a while since anyone posted in this thread, are you still liking the sound? Thanks B)

The sound of my Magnaflow cat-back is still the same after a year and a half and almost 30,000 miles ... fit and finish quality is outstanding. 409 S.S. pipes have rust on them but this is due to snow & salt from last winter. However the 304 S.S. Tips and muffler shells still polish up like new ... as they should. Chrome polish and a lot of effort this past spring cleaned up the rust from the portions of the non-304 tailpipes you can see from the back and behind the tires in the wheelwells.
It may not be the same exact system you are asking about, but it is from the same mfr. and if you have (or are interested in) the "05 V6 dual kit" it is my understanding they are using the same basic mufflers as the '99-04 kit that I have.

I just got my Manaflow Duals Installed last week they sound great but they are a TIGHT fit if you want to snug them into th bumper like stock (I cut the other side of my bumper with a dremmel and it looks great) It takes some 'persuation' (sp?) but in the end I'm satisfied.
