Hey guy's......this may be a stupid question, but who is using these yet and did it make any difference? Any HP gains? For the cost $80 are they worth it?

Get them for looks but don't expect any change in performance.

Thomas is dead on, unless your existing wires are defective or worn out (pretty unlikely on a new car) you're not going to see any performance change out of a simple wire swap.

Even when you have other mods. to help? The e-bay listing that have these claim a 4-5HP Gain from using these. Not True??

LOL! Don't believe what they say on an Ebay ad. Just buy them if you like the way they look under your hood, otherwise don't waste your money.

Thanks for your opinion.....but has anybody used them on an 05 Mustang V6 yet with the 4.0-liter?

Here is what the quote said "The editors at Car Craft made an extra 5 hp on a project engine with a set of 9mm JBA PowerCablesâ„¢. "

What they don't tell you is that the cables aren't necessarily what made the extra 5hp, they just happen to be on the car

it is a Project engine they are speaking of. When you build a performance engine you don't hold back, and get all you can. 5hp could be the difference from good wires that should be there VS. common wires.
On our application the factory wires provide all this 4.0 needs and anything more won't do anything.

With that said I really like how they look under the hood, and that'd be the only reason to get them.

I put in a set of the blue jba cables several months back. You wouldn't notice any gains, even if there were some. The factory cables were good, but the blue ones look much better. It's a nice color highlight inside my all black compartment. Nice, easy cosmetic mod.

I bought the red ones. Didn't notice much gains, but we also did the Magnaflow dual exhaust the same weekend and that made a huge difference. They look really cool though

The red wires look great. Reason enough right there to consider a set
